As the two penguins hug each other, enjoy the romantic night sky and the sad love story behind

After the photo was shared on Twitter, the photo of the two penguins quickly reached 125,000 likes and over 39,000 shares in a single day.

Photographer Tobias Baumgaertner captured a cute moment of two penguins comforting each other and looking up at the night sky together. We know that the photo was taken by the 2019 photographer in St. Kilda, a suburb of Melbourne (Australia) and it was only yesterday (April 19) that it spread widely on the social network Twitter.

Last month, Tobias posted a photo on his personal Instagram and explained that the two penguins had just lost their mate, they were staring at the Melbourne night sky with “dancing lights” coming from the sky of city buildings.

This photographer said that these two fairy penguins have stood like this, side by side for hours, shoulder to shoulder and gazing at the distant horizon, which is filled with the shimmering lights of Melbourne’s streets.

“A volunteer came to me and told me that the white girl had just lost her husband, and on the other side was a young male penguin in the same situation. Since becoming friends, the two often stand side by side for hours watching the dancing city lights. “- Tobias shared. It is known that to take this picture the photographer had to spend 3 nights awake.

“It was really hard to capture that moment. I spent 3 nights lying in the penguin colony to get the perfect shot. The penguins kept moving around unused. Using the light, I had to work very hard and even better luck”.

After sharing the photo on Twitter, it quickly reached 125,000 likes and over 39,000 shares in a single day.
