“What if” was born in the right season, the adorable baby tiger was named … Covid by the zoo

On March 14, a private zoo in Corodoba, Veracruz, Mexico, happily welcomed a new creature – a rare Bengal tiger. Born in the right season, the tiger has always been called… “Covid” for cool.

Kitzia Rodrigues – the daughter of the zoo owner and also a veterinarian there, said the birth of the baby tiger surprised everyone. We know that this zoo is the place dedicated to the protection of circus animals and offbeat private collections.

“We don’t know that there will be born tigers” – Rodriguez shared – “The baby tiger will be greatly affected because the current situation is quite difficult for everyone, including us.

However, Rodrigues also said the birth, despite the current predicament of “Covid”, will give them hope to continue to maintain the zoo and have more guests. In other words, baby “Covid” is a surprise gift for them. For now, the zoo remains open although daily life in Mexico has been somewhat affected by the spread of Covid-19, which has claimed the lives of more than 22,000 people around the world.

The mother of baby “Covid” is known to be an 8-year-old tigress who lived in a circus and was taken into care after surgery due to a broken hip. The father of the tiger is only 6 years old this year.
