A duck girl has become famous in the English coastal town of Bournemouth for behaving like a dog when she goes out onto the streets.
Residents of the town of Bournemouth in the county of Dorset (southern England) often see the 9 month old Essy duck walking the streets with two dogs. They live with Tony Tufft, a 35-year-old shipbuilder. Tony and his wife Steph bought the duck from a farm when he was eight weeks old.
Since Essy arrived at their home in the city of Charminster in Bournemouth, the couple have said that this duck has made everyone laugh as it always tries to imitate the barking, the way of walking, the wagging tail of a dog.
“Thanks to Essy, we have become famous people in the City of Charminster. Essy didn’t know him like a duck in my opinion. He likes to get close to dogs to play with. People did not understand his behavior and the dogs were surprised. We bought Essy a necklace to take her for a walk. Tony said.
His wife, Steph, added: “Every time Essy goes out on the streets, people flock to him like this duck is a celebrity.” Tony’s two dogs also love to play with Essy. They often walk behind the duck whenever they walk down the street to protect it. Even though Essy has a separate bed in her closet, she still enjoys sleeping with two dogs.
“Essy is at the forefront of every street. Whenever two dogs walked too fast he would try to run after and keep going, ”said Steph. Essy now has a pet passport. The Tufft family made a passport for the duck because they wanted to travel to Tenerife, a tourist island in the Spanish Canary Islands.
