Zedon – an extremely rare hybrid animal

It attracts the great attention of zoologists because in nature, but people have never seen zebras and donkeys have a “love” relationship to create a “descendant”. It is an extremely rare story. The zedon was named Pippi Longstocking by its owner.

Why is it called zedon? Quite simply because zedon is the 2 rhyming name in English for an animal whose father is a zebra and the mother is a donkey. This zedon is a female, has the appearance of a mother of a donkey, only on 4 legs and has black lines on the head, traces inherited from the zebra father. The name Longstocking (Wearing Sock) also comes from here as the 4 legs look like wearing 2 pairs of socks from heels to thighs.

Currently, zedon lives with his herd at the place of birth, consisting of a camel, two donkey brothers (who are also half-brothers with zedon), a zebra father and a donkey mother Old and small, today ‘hui 40 years old.

A similar case was reported in 2005 in Barbados, but this time the hybrid animal had a donkey sire and a zebra mother.
