Known as the lionfish, one of the most beautiful sea creatures that divers and photographers have the opportunity to encounter while diving deep into the seabed.

However, behind the beauty of the lionfish lies an unforeseeable danger. The spines of the dorsal fin of this fish have a strong and lasting toxicity.

If accidentally stabbed by the spines of the lionfish, the victim will experience extreme pain for several days, causing serious damage to health.

The lionfish generally hunts crustaceans and small fish. They are also not lenient or indulgent with newly hatched salmon and cilantro.

A female lionfish can produce 2 million eggs per year, which will be available within 2 days. Once hatched, the immature lionfish will live in shallow water. Over time, they will move to deeper waters to live.

In some parts of the world, due to few natural predators, strong reproductive capacity, and greedy foraging habits, lionfish have become a harmful invasive species, causing serious environmental problems.
