Many people in Kien Giang are confused when they find a sea creature with countless moving tentacles as it is impossible to identify which species it belongs to.
Nam Du’s tour guide filmed a dark brown sea creature snaking through hundreds of tentacles in Vietnam’s Kien Giang province last month, according to Viral Press. Nam Du put it on a blue table to take a closer look at the other sailors. Its shape and movement are easily reminiscent of extraterrestrial life.
“I don’t know if it’s an animal or a plant or something,” Nam Du shared. After that, he released it into the sea, but many locals are still confused by the strange creature.
According to experts, this organism is more likely a species of algae that reacts when released into the air. It has dozens of smaller tentacles in each branch, all moving in different directions.
