Flying snakes, fish walking on the ground … are animals that carry their strange characteristics, against nature.
Every living being on Earth obeys a certain law of nature. Therefore, information such as fish walking on the ground, flying snakes or birds carrying deadly poisons becomes extremely irrational and is against the laws of nature. However, reality proves the opposite.
Let’s review some species of animals that go against the laws of nature through the article below.
1. Snakes can fly
Found in Southeast and Southeast Asia, adult Chrysopelea snakes can grow up to 1.2m in length, and their bodies are shaped like the letter S in flight. Scientific research shows that this posture helps them fly higher.
Socha, a snake researcher, said: “With the S-shaped shape, the snake’s front body will create an aerial turn, helping to interact and lift its rear body.”
This mechanism is similar to the lift created when geese fly in a V-shape – the head creates a deflection in the air, which makes it easier for geese to fly sideways.
However, there is still a mystery to be solved, which is why snakes make waves when they fly? Socha and her colleagues suggest that this wavy posture helps them fly for longer thanks to the airflow created in front of the snake’s body. Socha explains, “This pose reduces the pressure on the upper body, increases the pressure difference between the upper and lower body, and allows the snake to fly longer.
2. Catfish walking on the ground
The walking catfish, or Clarias batrachus, lives in freshwater habitats in Southeast Asia, Florida, California, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Nevada. This fish has the ability to “walk” on dry ground in search of new food or new habitat.
Catfish live mainly in the standing water of ponds, swamps, rivers, streams and flooded rice fields. When the water recedes, they use their “walking” skills to find new sources of water.
Walking catfish are a major environmental hazard as they will compete for food and shelter with local fish species and spread diseases and parasites to new habitats.
3. Panda is loud in “that”
Pandas are considered shy in the animal kingdom and are known to have little interest in sex, which puts them at risk of extinction. However, the reality is that in the wild the method by which they have “sex” is group relations and rape of female pandas.
But in reality, the winner usually gets to “get close” to the panda first, then the loser’s turn. Bears that lose the battle will continue to rush into battles for the “good position”.
Also, there are male pandas who are not strong enough to rush into battle, they will climb trees and continue to wait patiently for days, weeks, even months to wait for the lady panda.
4. Birds have poison
Pitohui and Ifrita birds have a bright, seemingly harmless appearance, but in fact, they can secrete the poisonous batrachotoxin like the golden frog. This bird absorbs poison from a species of beetle called Melyrid.
In low doses, batrachotoxin makes muscles and nerves unable to function, but in high doses, this toxin can make people unable to breathe, paralyze and even cause death.
5. “Devil” penguins
Common penguins have a docile appearance and seem to know how to “behave”. However, Adélie penguins prove the opposite: they can rape, “take selfies” in public, corpse and prostitute themselves.
