Don’t miss the chance to admire one of the most amazing astronomical phenomena of the year – Vietnam is completely observable

On the night of 7 and 8 in the morning you have the opportunity to admire the extremely interesting astronomical phenomenon – the partial lunar eclipse.

You know what, on the night of August 7 to the morning of August 8, we will have the opportunity to admire one of the amazing astronomical phenomena – a partial lunar eclipse.

A small but very special revelation is that the area to fully observe this amazing phenomenon includes most of Asia, the east coast of Africa and most of Oceania.

Vietnam is fortunate to be located in an area that allows this partial lunar eclipse to be fully observed. This means that you have to “dress” to have interesting experiences with the partial lunar eclipse.

According to astronomers, a penumbra lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon, the three objects are in close alignment. The Earth will block the light from the Sun to the Moon, as a result, the Moon will be dark.

Unlike a total lunar eclipse, upon entering this semi-dark region, the Moon still receives a significant portion of sunlight, so it does not turn into a characteristic dark red color.

Instead, the Moon will darken, darken a bit, and appear a small red color in the part that enters this semi-dark region.

Although the luminosity of the Moon’s surface during a penumbra eclipse decreases, it is not very clear.

This partial lunar eclipse will take place in the late evening and last until morning. Specifically, according to Vietnam time, the partial lunar eclipse will take place according to the schedule:

– At around 10:50 p.m. on August 7, the penumbra lunar eclipse begins.

– At 12:22 a.m. on August 8, a partial lunar eclipse begins.

– At 1:20 am on August 8, the lunar eclipse reached its peak.

– At around 2:18 a.m. on August 8, the partial lunar eclipse ended

– 3:50 am on 08/08, the lunar eclipse ends.

During a penumbra lunar eclipse, the Moon first entered the semi-dark region of Earth, so it was always bright and light red.

But at 0:22, the Moon enters total Earth darkness and the part that enters that region turns crimson – at this point a partial lunar eclipse begins.

You want to witness this scene, so just watch it (you can use the naked eye to observe it) without necessarily using any specialized equipment.

In good weather, no rain, clear sky, if possible, find a very high position, the most favorable being the mountains, hills, tall buildings and look towards the western sky so that you can fully admire this phenomenon.
