For a horizontal hand, taking photos with passion like this photographer, this moment can be considered a work of life.
The magpie is (Magpie) who is known to be a cunning and mischievous species, but standing on the eagle’s back to hike is a new level. And that moment accidentally entered a photographer’s camera.
The person who captured this rare scene is photographer Nichole Wescombe, from Geelong, Victoria (Australia). According to Nichole, she herself could not believe that she was witnessing the extremely reckless and daring act of the magpie. He had followed the great eagle, then tried to climb on the tail of this predator, towering above the sky. After much effort, the magpie was finally satisfied when it was “carried” by the eagle.
The moment the magpie “hitchhiked”, the eagle was accidentally captured by Nichole.
Of course, for someone like an eagle, this couldn’t last. Soon realizing that the cunning bird’s presence was on his tail, he chased the evil bird away. From there, the two birds parted in midair. Although he almost stood still upon seeing this unique scene, Nichole always kept his cool to capture this unprecedented moment in time.
The right time is to describe this moment. Nichole said she didn’t really notice the peculiarity of the photo in the first place, only when she re-examined it.
This is probably the image of a lifetime in the photographer’s career as a horizontal hand photographer.
“What a beautiful photo. Since I looked at it for the second time, I couldn’t stop laughing. For me, it’s probably a work of a lifetime.” – Nichole shared.
We know that Nichole is not a professional photographer. She currently runs the family business. And wildlife photography is just one of his hobbies, a small passion for photography.
“I love to capture aerial predators, especially sharp-tailed eagles. I have been pursuing this passion for many years, but it was only in the last 2 years that I started to get serious about photography and investing. Add more quality material. – The horizontal hand photographer adds. It is known that a series of eagles “riding” the magpie was taken by Nichole near the Avalon airport in September of last year.
