Can you guess these images of the Earth or another star?
Albert Dros is a renowned photographer in the Netherlands, has won many prestigious awards for his passionate work. His works have had the opportunity to be selected in many world newspapers such as TIME, Huffington Post and National Geographic. Recently, a series of beautiful photos of him continue to make people overwhelmed by the incredible visuals, as if lost in a new realm no one has set foot in.
If you just look at the photo above, 10 and 9 will definitely tie into a scene of space travel to another planet in the fictional movies. Its color, relief and atmosphere seem ready to be shot for a breathtaking adventure, like the classic “Alien” and “Predator” series that continue today.
However, Albert’s revelation about this photo (and many other photos taken with him in the same setting) really amazes people, because it’s just … sandy beaches along the way.
However, this is not really the usual sand that we often see on the coasts. It turned out to be black sand – made up of compounds produced by volcanoes and scattered throughout the surrounding area after pressure fluctuations. The exact area he chose to capture was the coast of the Stokksnes region – famous for its geographic feature of black sand, which is very different from other parts of the world.
It was the strong winds and tides that randomly created sand dunes and patterns that looked like confusing terrain from another planet. It also helps to mislead the viewer, making it easy to misunderstand from an angle from above – when Albert actually only holds the camera a few inches off the ground.
“I can spend many hours looking and taking dozens of photos here without getting bored. They are really easy to misunderstand and so at first I decided not to disclose them, but to leave it all behind. world. A little out of date, “said Albert. “These photos are part of my ‘Black Desert’ collection. The location was chosen after I dragged through Google Earth, saw a wild land of black sand that hardly anyone lived in, so I decided to do a trip there. It is truly a unique country in the world … “
It is known that Albert has calculated that 99% of his followers are fooled by the effects caused by the photos, believing that they were taken from above, or even edited like in extraterrestrial films. It’s almost entirely the original scene, just adding a little effort to line up the shooting angle, pick the right time with the sunlight to shoot. Obviously, sometimes the most incredible beauties can come from the sand debris under our feet which is still not good.
