These are the reasons why we should believe we live in the multiverse

Because it seems that only this theory can explain the infinite universe.

In 1957, the young scientist Everet Hugh came up with a theory apparently insane at the time: the multiverse. This theory was hardly accepted by anyone in the scientific community at the time. But a few decades later, everything has changed completely.

Not only has emerged as one of the most famous theories in the field of theoretical physics, but moreover, this theory has also been the subject of much science fiction work. All the events, the choices that take place in your life, are most likely going to turn in completely different directions in the universes parallel to the one we exist in.

So do we really live in a multiverse system? No one can be sure, but here are some reasons the theory is most likely real.

1. Schrödinger’s cat theory

Before the advent of Everett’s multiverse theory, physicists struggled with conflicts between two physical systems: the quantum physics system and the conventional system. These contradictions can be explained simply by the experience of the cat in the Schrödinger box.

Until you open the box, the cat in the box exists alongside the two contradictions: life and death.

But with the theory of multiple universes, the above contradiction can be completely resolved. When you open the box reality splits into two parallel paths – in one version you will see that the cat is dead and in the other the cat will stay alive.

2. This is how reality lasts infinitely

If the space is infinite, it means that there must be a multiverse system with a multitude of realities parallel to each other.

The amount of matter that exists in the universe is finite. Much like the 52 cards in a deck, if you shuffle the cards enough times, there will come a time when the order of the cards will repeat as before. The same is true for the infinite universe – when the number of parallel facts is infinite, there will be times when matter will have to repeat its sequence.

A parallel cosmic system with an infinite number of equally existential facts, containing only slightly different contents – this would be a plausible explanation for the repetition of the order system of matter in the universe

3. The response to the formation and the end of the universe

If the Big Bang was the beginning of the universe, what started it, and what existed before this Big Bang? Will there ever be a day when the universe ends its existence? And what will happen next? These are unanswered questions.

The theory of multiple universes can provide explanations for all of these questions. Scientists have speculated that the existence of parallel facts is a phenomenon called the Braneworld model. This pattern exists in many different dimensions, but we cannot yet detect them because the human senses have limited us to only three dimensions of space.

Many scientists believe that in this model the worlds are arranged like slices of bread arranged parallel to each other. These worlds exist independently and separately, but there will be periods of interference and collision between these worlds. The interactions resulting from these collisions will create enough energy to repeat the Big Bang, ending the existence of the old universe and ushering in a new era.

4. The universe is too big for us to exclude the existence of parallel realities

We haven’t even uncovered all the mysteries of this Earth, let alone the universe on a much larger scale. The infinite universe is still uncertain, so it is impossible to exclude the existence of another universe, parallel to the universe in which we live.

Scientists have estimated the universe to be around 13.8 billion years old – this means that we can only detect sources of light that reach us during this time. If another universe existed at a distance greater than 13.8 billion light years away, or simply existed in another dimension, there would be no way for us to know. .

5. The theory of the multiverse with a multitude of possibilities may be the only reason humans exist

If the neutrons were only 0.2% larger than they are now, they would become so unstable that they would be broken down into smaller particles and the atoms would not exist. If gravity were just a little stronger, matter on Earth would be sucked more tightly towards the center, and the Earth’s core would quickly burn everything up in a few million years. Humans will have no chance to be on earth.

The absolute balance of all things on Earth is, in the eyes of some, dominated by the power of the Supreme Being. But the theory of multiple universes may offer a more scientific solution. In all other parallel universes, where the balance of material elements is not maintained, life will not be able to flourish as in the universe in which we exist. This absolute balance may be a very small percentage but, given the multitude of possibilities, it is quite possible.

6. Time travel can no longer disrupt the timeline.

Time travel and the paradox it creates are still a puzzle that science cannot fully answer. With multiverse theory, now when you go back in time to a certain point in the past, the effects you create will no longer cause change in a single universe.

Instead, you’ve inadvertently created a whole new parallel universe, where everything will turn in a completely different direction from when you impacted the past.

7. This corresponds to our understanding of the universe

A long time ago, humans still believed that they were the center of the universe and that all planets should revolve around Earth. We now know that we are only a very small part of the galaxy, existing among countless other galaxies in the universe.

The theory of multiple universes will make this even more plausible. If really other parallel universes exist, it means that we humans don’t have anything special, because there will be countless other versions of ourselves that will exist in other parallel universes. .
