Thin pieces of cake-like ice cream cover a river in the Scottish Highlands in a surprisingly rare phenomenon.

According to Sun. Norrie asked the driver to stop by the riverside to capture the beautiful scene.

“After passing the car and seeing this strange sight, I asked the driver to stop for a moment to see it. The scene surprised and excited me. After that I knew it was cakes. small as a DVD to as large as a vinyl. This is the best series of photos I have ever taken, ”shared Daniel.

According to the UK Meteorological Agency, ice cake only forms under the most special and common conditions of the Baltic Sea, but can also occur in North America and Canada. The diameter of the cake can be 20-200cm long.
