The muscular monkey like athlete surprised the photographer

The female monkey at the Finnish zoo was extremely tall compared to others in the same cage, surprising the photographer.

Finnish photographer Santeri Oksanen couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the beefy female monkey at Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki, Fox Newshome reported yesterday. “I can’t believe the massive muscular muscles of the monkeys. The other monkeys are very tough on him and they all seem a little scared,” Santeri says. “The image is reminiscent of a bodybuilding competition”.

The monkey in the photo belongs to the white-faced saki monkey, famous for its strong body. They often spend a lot of time swinging from tree to tree. Male monkeys are more active and slightly larger than female monkeys.

The white-faced saki monkey is native to South America, including Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela, according to the New England Primate Reserve. However, only male monkeys have a white face, while female monkeys have a gray-brown face and the body is covered with short gray, brown and red hairs.
