The lift to the moon is possible

Scientists at Cambridge and Columbia Universities are developing the theory of a space elevator between the Earth and the Moon.

Instead of going from Earth to the Moon, scientists want to anchor a system from a tower on the Moon. This tower will put the satellites into geostationary orbit.

Scientists call it Spaceline.

“We offer a complete, physically and mathematically independent description of this idea. What we and previous authors have been surprised to find is very reasonable and controllable when there is a significant step forward in the development of our abilities as than a species that moves through the solar system, ”scientists Zephyr Penoyre and Emily Sandford said in the research paper.

As a result, this concept uses more support devices than a tower. A strong, light material like the lead used in a pencil is ideal for this.

Remember a thin hook so that it is possible to make a line of more than 360,000 km from the Moon to the Earth. It would be a safe distance above Earth, where it would be separated from the effects of the environment and satellites.

Any vehicle on the Moon can sync with Spaceline and use the force of the sun to move without using fuel.

A vehicle to the Moon is the key for humans to move to other planets in the future. The moon could serve as a transit station to get to Mars.

This idea was proposed by fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke in his 1979 novel Fountains of Heaven. However, this theory was rejected because there was no material strong enough to generate enough weight for the tower.

In fact, Canadian tech company Thoth Technology patented the idea of its space elevator with a proposed tower nearly 20,000 km high.

There are even rumors that Google is working on a similar project in the labs of Company X.
