Perhaps in these 3 planets there are “immense treasures” of rare rubies and sapphires.
In fact, human demand for minerals is increasing, while resources on Earth are also limited. This is when scientists plan to mine for treasures on “heavenly mines”.
NASA has announced that it will launch the 16 Psyche asteroid crawler in 2023. 16 Psyche is known to be a giant metallic asteroid, containing many rare metals, similar to the Earth’s core. According to the US Geological Agency, the economic value of 16 Psyche is 10,000 million USD! (10,000 quadrillion dollars).
The history of NASA’s “sky mine” resource exploitation shows that people set ambitions to get rich from meteorites, asteroids and planets in and out of the solar system. The latest discovery by astronomers only arouses this ambition.
The Three Superlands can hold all the rubies and sapphires in the Galaxy
More precisely, researchers from the two universities of Zurich (Switzerland) and Cambridge (United Kingdom) have identified 3 possible planets as Super-Earth containing a huge treasure. They are HD 219134 b (belonging to the constellation Thien Hau, 21 light years from Earth); 55 Cancri e (from the constellation Cancer, 41 light years from Earth); and WASP-47 th (870 light years from Earth).
Although discovered a few years ago (55 Cancri e alone was discovered in 2004; HD 219134 b and WASP-47 e were also discovered in 2015), however, at this time astronomers have yet to identify their planetary type.
According to British and Swiss scientists, the three exoplanets (solar system exoplanets) are all super-earths, which are Earth-like planets containing a lot of rocky soil and heavy metals.
However, these three planets have very short orbits around their host star. In other words, the distance between them and their “sun” is very close to the distance between the Earth and our sun. That is, their composition can be very different from that of our Earth – Instead of the iron core like Earth, they contain a lot of calcium and aluminum.
This means that in these three planets there are “enormous treasures” of rubies (Rubies) and sapphires (or turquoise), which are composed of the mineral corundum (a crystalline form of aluminum oxide, with variations are red ruby, and precious sapphire).
According to preliminary observations, in October 2012, some scientists claimed that 55 Cancri e is a carbon planet, or diamond planet based on observations of carbon in the form of diamonds estimated at the face and core of this planet. However, the research team at the Universities of Zurich and Cambridge said this was the wrong conclusion after looking at the results of the following observations.
So far, however, nothing contradicts the discovery that it is raining diamonds on Neptune.
So, the Super-Earth type exoplanet contains gems, Neptune is full of diamonds, and Jupiter contains corundum mineral clouds, in the eyes of astronomers the galaxy is a huge treasure, a sparkling light.
