Greening the Earth is one way to contain global climate change. And if you can do it anywhere like this country, maybe the Earth will be saved soon.
The process of climate change is accelerating every day and people are doing everything to prevent it, or at least slow it down.
One possible method is to re-green land that has been destroyed by humans.
And don’t think so, recently Indians have set an example for the world with truly hegemonic planting speed: 66 million trees in exactly 12 hours. This speed shattered the previous record also set by themselves: 49.3 million trees.
Specifically, the Indian government has launched a tree planting day in Madhya Pradesh – a very large state in central India. In 12 hours, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., a large number of volunteers planted some 66,300,000 saplings. That is, on average, the planting speed here is 5.5 million trees / h.
It is known that in 2016 the event was held in Uttar Pradesh for 24 hours and that they only planted 49.3 trees. Granted, Guinness World Records has not officially recognized it, but the title “fastest growing and most tree” is arguably hard to escape India.
According to Indian officials, the country is expected to increase its green area to 95 million hectares by 2030 – the time of the Paris climate change conference. India has mobilized more than $ 6.2 billion to implement the campaign, which encourages all 29 states in that country to participate.

“This planting campaign is based on the Paris Agreement. I am proud that Madhya Pradesh was one of the first states to join,” said Shivraj Singh Chouhan, head of state of Madhya Pradesh.

But these images are fading. There have been many economic projects focused on green energy and the environment, both locally and nationally.
Now, by setting a tree planting record, the world will realize that India is ready to change in a more positive direction with the Earth’s environment.
