Habits that easily kill you when it’s cold

Cold temperatures cause the blood vessels to contract, blood pressure rises and is the culprit that many people have complications of myocardial infarction, stroke.

To drink alcohol

If they shower late at night, they are much more likely to have a stroke than younger people.

Therefore, doctor Hong Minh recommends people with high blood pressure and vestibular disorders not to take a bath at night to avoid stroke.

Go to bed regularly late

Conversely, “high humidity can cause dehydration, easy to form blood clots in the vessel”. The abnormal dilation of blood vessels easily leads to loss of control of the body, leading to stroke, heart attack and death.

The habit of staying up late for 2 to 3 hours causes the body to suddenly change in temperature and the blood vessels cannot dilate over time. We are also susceptible to colds during this time. Numerous studies also show that groups who sleep less than 6 hours per night have a risk of stroke 4 to 5 times higher than those who sleep 8 hours per day.

Additionally, many people have a habit of sitting up as soon as they wake up, however, this bad habit increases the risk of stroke. The reason for this is that blood pressure often rises in the early morning hours upon awakening, which puts pressure on the walls of the vessels, forming blood clots.

To avoid a stroke, it is best to follow the 2-2-1 rule: Wake up, lie in bed for 2 minutes. Then you sit and stay in bed for another 2 minutes, then lower your legs on the bed for a minute, then get up and walk.
