Planet Earth

For 40 years, humanity has languished for a response from aliens: is it time to wake up?

Travel to space exploration to answer the question “Are people alone in the universe?” still faced with many difficulties.

Almost 60 years after astronaut Yuri Gagarin made his first space flight in 1961, marking the beginning of the era of human space conquest, humans are still in constant search of answers to big problems: humans are they alone in the universe?

Many countries have invested brains, money, technology … to serve the work of space exploration; search for the “new earth” which hides and nourishes extraterrestrial life; or successfully communicated with aliens…

Forty years ago, in 1977, the US Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched two Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft carrying the message of Earthlings in the hope of successfully sending them to aliens (if any) in the distant universe.

Both spaceships have gold plates – from human “messengers” to aliens, with 116 images depicting life on planet Earth in the solar system, including audio recordings. Welcome to over 50 different languages, music, natural earth sounds and good wishes from human earth …

So far, the two ships still travel diligently in a vast space and continue to communicate with Earth.

This is a testament to the endless human effort to communicate with aliens.

Mankind has not found any sign of aliens because …

However, Alan Stern, a planet specialist at the Colorado Southwest Research Institute (US), turned the problem around and explained why we can’t find aliens.

Speaking at the American Astronomical Association conference, Mr. Alan Stern said:

We all understand that our galaxy is wide open, which is why outside of this space there will also be many more mysterious galaxies that we cannot name.

In theory, it is possible that a planet has the ideal position with its star to form life (like Earth). So why haven’t we so far been able to detect or at least capture even the smallest signal from “them” – the people living outside of Earth?

If an alien civilization existed beneath an icy ocean, it would be difficult for Earthlings to detect, let alone contact them.

In fact, venturing to the surface of “their” planet is also a difficult task. It is clear that simply imagining an extraterrestrial civilization hidden deep in the ice sheet is too “difficult”.

Above, Alan Stern’s take on why humans haven’t found any aliens.

Once the universe contains a mystery that humans cannot fully understand, we still have “the right” to think of the alien creatures that exist somewhere in the universe.

It is no coincidence that NASA, ESA … have invested billions of dollars in their difficult journey to explore the vast universe.
