Do we all come to Earth because of asteroids?

Where does life come from? This has been a question that has been asked since humans first became aware of themselves, and to this day we still haven’t come up with a satisfactory answer.

We have many theories about our origin, from an outgrowth of organic chemicals on the surface of a primitive Earth to the epiphytic theory that life originated from another planet that was propagated to Earth by asteroid collisions, but everything is still hypothetical.

The theory of exorcism says that life originated from another planet and then spread to Earth.

Researchers have identified for the first time what they consider to be the building blocks of life in a specimen from an asteroid in our space system. In 2010, explorer Hayabusa brought back a tiny particle from the Itokawa meteorite, and scientists were eager to find out what it contained. The answer is gradually revealed and extremely interesting.

Scientists at the University of London, UK, presented in a recent article that the asteroid material contains a lot of unexpected information, including the prerequisites for formation. Organic compounds and water are found in this specimen and are enough to seed a lucky planet.

This is interesting because Itokawa is an S-shaped asteroid, a very common astronaut rock found on Earth. So, can you already imagine the situation? You must have guessed it! If this asteroid carries the ingredients of life (and we fully understand that scientists have long guessed, but not confirmed, what materials were present when the first cells of life were formed. Days. If so, our existence is a blessing thanks to these collisions.

Dr Queenie Chan of the University of London said the heated organic matter suggests the asteroid was once hotter at over 600 degrees Celsius. The presence of unheated organic matter is very similar. This means that many primitive creatures gathered on the surface of Itokawa after the asteroid cooled. The search for this specimen allows us to better understand how the asteroid is constantly evolving by combining newly incoming exogenous water with organic compounds. These are extremely interesting findings because they reveal the intricate details of an asteroid’s history and how its evolutionary path is very similar to that of prebiotic Earth.

This is one of the most difficult theories to prove unless we invent the time machine. However, it’s also interesting to imagine life suddenly walking on Earth after its asteroid hits Earth and similar things can happen on other planets as well.
