Cats are at home, a place I want to go back to every day

I started raising a cat friend when I was 21, while studying abroad in France. That day when I got home from work I found out that my neighbor had posted a sign with the contents of about a herd of cats and wanted to be looked after by everyone. I came by at the right time as he stood at the door so I inquired and offered to pick up a friend. She accepts as long as she takes good care of her cat friends.

But this cat friend stayed with me for about 2 years, then I forgot the way home. I think the reason is because she is an adult, needs to find a partner so she often plays and stops coming. I couldn’t wait to be there, regret and sadness, but nevertheless, this cat friend is still a fond memory for me.

At this age, I am not young enough to learn to love an animal. In addition, my life without a cat is also quite normal, there is nothing to complain about. But the day I saw a neighbor’s sign, an eagerness rose in my heart, prompting me to have a cat friend. Maybe I need a friend to meet me at home after school and come home from work. So for me cats are at home, home only makes sense when cats are there and makes me want to come back every day.
So naturally I have more than 1 cat friends and also kittens. At that point my friends came to play and I felt the house seemed more cheerful, more smiles and people closer. I want to share the joy that I had at that time with many others, so I decided to embark on the path of professional breeding (breeder).

In terms of value, it’s hard to come up with a precise number. Because the values of cats for me are not only numbers or business, but also feelings, but I can give relative numbers. A good quality cat imported to Vietnam costs around 3000 USD (70 million VND). My house has about 9 or 10 friends in this line.
Here I brought Cyclamen, Di Maria, Thanos, Amorino, Yuppy and Wymm. Each of you has a name, a story, a personality.
Cyclamen is the first cat friend I started my breeding career with. The name means primrose, which was given by a Polish veterinarian and a cat breeder. Cyclamen is the most affectionate cat of all my feline friends. Every day until now, I’m about to come home from work, Cyclamen will be waiting at the door, where she is going, without leaving half a step.

Thanos: “Doesn’t that sound ‘cowardly’? But we all have a thousand dollars!”
Amorino is the name of an Italian ice cream brand that I have loved since I came to Europe. Amorino is also the first litter I have after returning to Vietnam in 2015.
Yuppy must be under the chair right now. This friend was a gift from a Czech vet. Yuppy is at home as a domestic cat, he is no longer used for breeding.
Wymm means Will you marry me 9 months puberty is very active and dizzy.

The biggest characteristic of these friends is to eat and sleep, a characteristic common to large cats. Not exactly lazy, but they love to eat and sleep more than anything.
Cats make up 3/4 of the minds of family members
To talk about the attractiveness of cats, I can be brief: before returning to Vietnam, cats occupied 3/4 of my mind. Back home, cats occupy three quarters of the minds of the members of the house.
Really, cats can “smell” anyone, at any age! The first is that their parents, not having thought of raising pets, are now real cat lovers.
Then it’s my wife. My wife was not a cat at all. The first day I had a cat friend, she just looked, didn’t touch or feed. I asked, “Why are cats so cute that I don’t like it?” She immediately said she didn’t know, that she didn’t like it, that she didn’t like it. But the longer she was in contact, the more his wife, when she was a girlfriend, became more and more sympathetic to this cat friend.

And what do you know now? I have the impression that my wife is a breeder and not me. Because the girlfriend of the day is even more thorough than me in all the stages, from the newborn cat to the big cat or to find a new owner for the cat. In particular, she is always in competition over whether the new owner is good or not, is sure to take care of the cat, … and then hands the cats over to the new owner.

If my wife doesn’t like cats but likes dogs or other animals, I will feel very comfortable and not bothered at all. Because I think caring for and raising a pet friend will have great love, it’s something to be enjoyed. I actually love dogs too, but I choose cats because I know that raising dogs will take longer and find cats that are better suited for my life.

I feel so lucky because my baby was born in an environment with pets. I feel all the love and emotions of the baby when I know the presence of cats in the house. For example, at the first moment she touched the cat, her hand pulled back, but her expression was extremely happy, happy, smiling very excited. From a father’s point of view, I am very happy with this moment.

Wymm is in puberty, active and eager to run, jump, climb.
I have always felt the power and attractiveness of cats, so I also claim that a man will be more attractive when raising cats. My simple example only. On my Facebook page, if I use my photo as my profile photo, I only get a few likes. But if it’s me with a cat friend, there can be up to a few hundred likes. Confused, right? *to laugh*
After having a baby, I intended to give up the job of breeder
Besides breeding cats, I also have another full-time job. I can’t waste my years studying away from home, right? * laughs * But that’s why I’m pretty busy. The most time is cleaning the house and the place where the cats live.
Before the baby was born it was already important, then even more important because cats shed a lot of hair. I also brush the cat every day and I offer adapted strategies to take care of the cat and ensure the health of the baby. It’s not too hard to tell, just take care of the cat and the baby a little bit more.

Of course, during all these years of raising cats, things couldn’t always go well for me. The most difficult time for me was before and after I returned to Vietnam to live. From France, I had a great “exodus” with about 500kg of articles and 8 cats. The good things are obvious, but the eight cats are the biggest problem. At that time I contacted the airline, it was said that one person can only fly with 4 cats. Very stressful, but luckily my wife (at the time my girlfriend) agreed to go home so everything failed.
Back in Vietnam, the cats were shocked by weather allergies. Being in France with a dry environment and ideal for British shorthair cats, they encounter a hot and humid tropical climate in Vietnam and therefore cannot adapt in time. This situation lasted about 2 months, I just found a cure.
From the start, raising cats and giving birth to cats that meet my criteria has been my passion, so I’m not used to doing detailed calculations anymore. But now every week I will have to go and buy things for them once, about 2-3 million each time. The furniture here is everything, including grains, cooking ingredients, sanitary sand, toy money, washing, care …

Boss toys don’t come cheap, either. The cat “fishing rod” costs 800,000 VND.

There were also times when I was so desperate that I wanted to give up cat breeding. Due to my main job, being a breeder and also taking care of the baby, I am so busy that at one point I asked myself: will I have enough time to take care of them fully? But luckily it stopped just thinking and the cats are still with me so far.

With this, in addition to the support of my wife and family, I also have the chance to meet friends with the same interests, joy and difficulties. We have created a club to share the experience of breeding and breeding cats. In the end, how difficult will it be?
