Clam rescue dogs weighing nearly 90 kg exhausted while climbing

After receiving the notification, the rescue team quickly arrived and safely transported the three-year-old dog up the mountain on a stretcher.

Dog Floyd Clam and his owner climbed to the summit of Grandeur near Salt Lake City, Utah on October 13. However, on the way down, Floyd was too tired and sat still. Several other climbers passed by and helped brief the Salt Lake search and rescue team. It was around 6:30 p.m. local time and the temperature was dropping rapidly.

“The rescue team was totally willing, without hesitation even knowing it was a dog,” said policewoman Melody Gray. The staff put Floyd on a stretcher and began to descend the mountain. The rescue took about 4 hours.

The next day, the rescue team posted a video of the large animal being carried in a stream on social media. “Floyd is a good boy. He is very happy to help,” they wrote. Hundreds of commenters satisfied with Floyd and congratulate the rescue team.

Floyd is a dog bred by Amy Sandoval’s brother. She said they made the wrong turn and very hard to get back to the right track, but then Floyd was exhausted. “My brother never gave up on him. He was going to sleep next to him all night, ”she wrote. Floyd is resting at home and being looked after by everyone.
