Science and technology have developed so that humans can breed new species. However, there are also some animals that are completely natural, which you might think are not real.
1. Green dragon
This green dragon, also known as the blue sea snail, or scientifically known as the Glaucus Atlanticus, looks like a spit.
This invertebrate, only 3 cm long, has a “bizarre” menu. It feeds on extremely poisonous animals like sea jellyfish, most notably the Portuguese Man-O’-War, a species known for its deadly “feat”, and leaves behind extremely painful stings. This race can trick enemies with camouflage. Their bodies have light and dark blue markings to help them camouflage themselves while floating on the ocean waves.
2. Dragon lizards
Also known as “dwarf dragons”, they were recently discovered during an expedition in the Southern Andes. It is a wood lizard that is active during the day and actually looks like a small dragon. Who wouldn’t want this animal in the house?
3. Mantis shrimps
The mantis shrimp is not really a shrimp, but a crustacean of the order Stomatopods. They are still known for their aggressiveness and sharp weapons. The strong, sharp claw can tear off a human finger or break the aquarium glass in a single attack. This species is found widely in tropical seas.
Even stranger, each Mantis shrimp eye is divided into 3 parts, allowing them to observe 3 parts of the subject with one eye. Even if they lose one eye, they can see just as well as a two-eyed human. Mantis deserves to be called “super shrimp”.
4. Orange turtle spider
For those of you who love small pets, this colorful bug may be the right choice. They generally live in the Amazon River basins in Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.
5. Red cat bear
Raccoons are adorable, sometimes referred to as “little raccoons,” the perfect combination of a bear and a cat. However, these animals are quite dangerous and keeping them indoors is quite reckless.
6. Blue bar
Who wouldn’t want this fish with a smiling face? The only problem you have to consider growing up is that they are 1.2 meters long and weigh around 9 kg, so you need a large aquarium!
7. Ili Pika Rabbit
Magic Rabbit, also known as Ili Pikas, has the scientific name of Ochotona iliensis. This animal lives in rocky holes at an altitude of 2,800 to 4,000 m. They like to live in extremely cold plateaus and eat herbs.
Anyone can wish they had a baby rabbit in their life, but it sure isn’t that little animal. The Ili Pika is an endangered species, it looks like a bunny with short ears but has nothing to do with rabbits or their relatives. Pikas are really small (only around 250g) and have red spots on the forehead and neck.
8. Dragon thorns
Fans of the Pokémon anime couldn’t help but … surprised to see this image. However, it is a real creature with the name “thorn dragon” – a species of lizard that lives in the deserts of Australia.
Due to the harsh and arid weather all year round, their skin has evolved into scaly layers to limit water loss from the body and to protect it from predators. Dragon lizards love to eat ants. When attacked, they try to defend themselves by curling up like a ball of thorns and rolling over the enemy.
9. Quokka
Like other marsupial species in the macropodidae family (such as kangaroos and big-legged kangaroos), quokkas are herbivores and are primarily nocturnal. This animal is very popular with tourists because of its cunning face and easy access. Quokka is found on a number of small islands off the west coast of Australia, particularly on Rottnest Island just off Perth and Bald Island near Albany.
10. Little snake
Barbados threadsnake is the scientific nomenclature of the world’s smallest snake. They can be curled up on a US 25 cent coin. The adult snake is less than 10cm long and the width is only about a spagetti noodle. It is a species endemic to the island of Barbados in the Caribbean Sea. They also call them the Barbados serpent.
There are a lot of people in the world who love cold blooded animals. For them, these little snakes will be perfect. Baby snakes are basically a kid too and they are unique and cute in their own way.
11. Pigs
The micro pig, mini pig or micro pig is a breed developed for raising pets, first developed in Canada but popular in Europe. Their characteristics are flat pigs the size of a small dog, a friendly temperament, tangerine from the owner’s side. Each piglet costs around 700 pounds. It is a small in size and cute looking type of pet. These pigs must be fed and exercised daily. They are very tangled with the owner and not as loud as the dogs.
These animals are not too numerous, even some species are on the verge of extinction. So, if you want to raise a unique pet, then you should also consider whether the environment is suitable or harms these adorable animals!
