American dog miraculously survived when born with 6 legs and 2 tails

A puppy was born with 6 legs and 2 tails and suffered from other unusual medical conditions but miraculously survived.

Skipper puppies seem to overcome all difficulties to survive

Skipper is an Australian Shepherd and was born 6 days ago at Neel Veterinary Hospital in Oklahoma City, USA.

While animals born with unusual bodies don’t have happy endings, Skipper is different. The puppies have gained weight and are showing positive signs.

Skipper was born with 6 legs and 2 tails. He also has other aspects of being different from his siblings.

The vet’s speculation was that Skipper was pregnant with another sibling, but the fetuses did not separate properly while in the womb. This means that Skipper has extra legs and a tail from his brother.

All of its legs are able to move independently and respond to stimuli. Currently, Skipper is eating well and growing at a normal rate.

It is not known if the little dog will need motor aids or physiotherapy in the future, but everyone is happy with their progress and I hope Skipper has the best chance of being able to exist normally.

Obviously, Skipper was breathing hard – a manifestation of comorbidities. Basically, according to the veterinary hospital’s Facebook page, the little dog has “1 head and a chest cavity but up to 2 pelvic regions, 2 lower urinary tract, 2 reproductive systems, 2 tails and 6 legs, and others.” . The skipper is also showing signs of spina bifida along the back.

Skipper was denied feeding by her mother and needed a bottle, but she is still doing very well.

The little dog’s owner recently requested a donation on the GoFundMe site to help pay for any medical, surgical or vet visits Skipper may need in the future.

Owner hopes Skipper has the best chance of living a healthy life

Although Skipper is at home with the owner, he will still have to return to the hospital for follow-up and treatment.

“Skipper walks well, eats well. We continue to encourage him to grow stronger and Skipper promotes himself even more, for a happy and healthy life,” said the owner.
