Frightening image of parrots abandoned by humans

The set of photos help viewers better understand some of the parrot subspecies which are not only beautiful but also extremely intelligent.

Not many people know that parrots belong to the group of species that live for a long time in the animal kingdom. On average, a parrot living in the wild has an average life expectancy of around 70 years, but it can ‘live’ longer than that if taken care of by its owners every day.
Oliver Regueiro grew up in Venezuela and has a particular hobby of photographing exotic birds. He struggled to get permission to enter a Washington state sanctuary and record the moments of these parrots. The following parrots are the same when sadly abandoned or not taken care of by their owners.
It took Regueiro several weeks to prepare the scenes, to get to know the character. He then spent 2 days acquiring the collection. As a result, a series of bird portraits and their brief biographies were accurately “captured” by Regueiro.
Regueiro said: “When I got to know birds, I tried to understand some of their feelings. The eyes of those birds and parrots looking at you are really interesting.”
Moluccas have white fur, the underside of the tail is peachy in color, and the crest is red-orange like salmon. Having the common characteristics of cockatoo parrots, Moluccas like to be noticed, very interested, funny and quite sociable.
By dint of permanently leaving its owner, this molucca parrot named Chicky (36 years old) was extremely sad and seriously ill two months after being placed in the reserve in 2009. This photo was taken. Four days before Chicky breathes her last breath.

Unlike Chicky – the Moluccan parrot named Buddha (21) brings her sadness when her employer does not understand the needs and preferences of being placed on the role of the owner of the Buddha, but keeps her in a cage.
This “grandfather” the Moluccan cockatoo named Regueiro is 72 years old this year and is the oldest bird photographed in this collection. We know that Regueiro spent 20 years in an animal park before “moving” to this reserve. Despite his age, Regueiro still has a girlfriend and worries when the photographer raises the camera.
Unlike other parrots, the African wild gray parrot has been noted to mimic the song of several other species very well.
With rigorous scientific testing, experts conclude, this parrot is also ranked among the most intelligent animals. Above, a 35-year-old African gray parrot named Bubba.
The hyacinth macaw is one of the largest in the world – 95 cm long, weighing about 1.7 kg. Macaws are quite pure and quiet and are excellent pets.
They are gentle, kind, don’t like to make noise and like to have fun and bond with their family, especially they are very child friendly. The average life expectancy of this parakeet is around 60 years.

The umbrella cockatoo has white fur all over its body, the feathers under the wings will be pale yellow in color. The umbrella is soft, quiet, easily befriends other birds, and rarely gets angry. This parrot is extremely attached to its owner and wants its owner to spend time petting and caring for them. The photo above shows a 20 year old parrot girl named Gandy Roo.

Known as an intelligent and energetic parrot, never restless, immobile, this 40-year-old yellow-crowned Amazon parrot always climbs, plays or bites everything in its environment.

Green-winged is at the top of South American parrots with the largest size, behind Hyacinth Parrot. Green wings are large, but known as a gentle parrot, compared to a gentle giant.
This parrot is loved not only for its beautiful red, green and blue coat, but also for its softness and temperament than other Macaw parrots.
Therefore, Green-winged is chosen as a very good companion or pet. Have you noticed the beauty on the face of this 10 year old parrot named Elizabeth?
