Dogs are inherently mischievous animals, but this boss alone has “an unchanging mind amidst the variables of life.”
Looking at the photo above, you might think it is a statue. But it’s actually a flesh and blood dog named Piper, 2, from Quezon City, Philippines.
Piper belongs to the Xoloitzcuintle dog breed (also known as the Xolo dog, Mexican hairless dog), was picked up by her owner Sandra Pineda when she was a baby.
In addition to her weird natural appearance, Piper is also bathed in coconut oil on a regular basis, which helps keep her skin smooth and shiny. In addition, the dog possesses a calm and gentle aura, which makes him look like a statue.
Ms Sandra said that since bringing Piper home the neighbors have been extremely curious, wondering if this is a living creature or not. They got a response right away when Piper stretched out and barked back.
Plus, in a few close-up photos, it’s easy to see that Piper really is a dog, plus, a whiny puppy. Until now, Piper’s daily photos still have “huge” likes and shares on Facebook.
According to the Daily Mail, Xolo purebred dogs like Piper originated in Mexico and have been around for over 3,500 years. Archaeologists have found fossils of this dog-like skull in the ruins of the Aztecs.
In general, the Xolo is an intelligent dog, hyperactive but not aggressive, in addition to being very affectionate with the owner. However, it is quite sensitive to unusually hot / cold temperatures due to the lack of a protective layer.
