Looking at the current image, it is difficult to recognize the stray dog on the street, all over the pitiful sores of a few months ago.
Last July, Lhen Lim, 45, found a stray dog that was almost hit by a bus while searching for food in Cavite province, Philippines. Previous photos of the stray dog made a lot of people sad. The entire body of the animal is red and pink due to the damaged skin and severe wounds.
The dog’s hind legs also appear to have a disability that prevents him from walking. A slim, boneless body indicates prolonged severe malnutrition. Loving the animal so much, Ms. Lhen Lim brought it home to raise and care for it. She named the dog Sunday.

Recently, a “before – after” video showed current footage from Sunday. Many people were surprised to witness the spectacular “makeover” of the dog just a few months ago, still skinny, ugly and sick. Sunday turned out to be a lucky dog to have a beautiful pure white coat. In the clip, Sunday is sprawling on blankets at Lhen’s, looking completely at ease and seemingly happy with his current life with his gracious owner. If he didn’t say so, no one would have recognized the hungry dog, with sores all over his body before.
We know that Sunday has not only a nice owner, but also 90 other friends. Lhen said she gave up her business just to take care of rescued pets. She now sells items online to pay for their education.
She said: ‘I used to live in the city, but then I decided to move to the country to make sure the dogs were safe, you know not everyone understands what I’m doing.
