The hypothesis posed in the case of extraterrestrials is real.
Along with the development of technology, humanity today has taken a big step forward in its journey of exploring the universe. We are also aware that we are only a tiny grain of sand in the vast universe and that we are ready to seek the existence of other lives, other extraterrestrial beings, even beyond the galaxy. However, aliens haven’t once had a connection with humans.
According to the Copernican principle, Earth observers are not the most special people. The images Earthlings observe in the universe can be seen by other celestial bodies. If we use the Drake equation (the equation describing the mathematical probability proposed by astronomer Frank Drake) to calculate, even with the most conservative variables, in the galaxy, there will be around 10,000 civilizations with which to proceed to the connection with us.
Many scientists believe that extraterrestrial life certainly exists somewhere far away. It’s just that for a number of reasons we still couldn’t find any traces. Assuming the aliens are real, why haven’t they visited us before? Haven’t even heard any sounds from space yet? To answer this question, scientists conducted research and came up with 4 theories that show why we are “beautifully buttered” by aliens.
First, it is possible that the aliens did not know of the existence of Earth. In the galactic system, Earth is too small and located at the edge. Finding Earth in the universe is as difficult as finding a grain of sand on the seabed, the success rate is close to 0. It is possible that aliens, like us, are looking for another life in space. But because the distance is too far away, the two sides have not been able to connect so far.
Second, aliens feel no need to connect with humans. In our impression, their science and technology is highly developed, can easily complete a trip around the planet, completely “on the basis” of current human technology. Moreover, compared to the 13.8 million years of universe history, the age of the Earth since the appearance of human civilization is too thin. Our civilization is only a moment in relation to the universe. Meanwhile, extraterrestrial civilization appeared a long time ago. It is possible that their technological level exceeds that of humans. Therefore, extraterrestrials may think that there is no need to “exchange and learn” from us.
Third, their method of communication is different from ours. Currently, humans mainly use radio waves to receive information from space, and aliens most likely use a different connection method than ours. So even though aliens have been sending information across the universe for a long time, we cannot receive or understand it.
Fourth, humanity is like an animal in a giant alien zoo. They always observe and study how we survive, develop and try to avoid contact or participate as much as possible in our lives to achieve a certain goal.
