2-headed creatures

In recent years, the press often reports a number of cases of organisms born with 2 heads. People always wonder: why is there such a strange thing. In fact, is having two ends good or bad?

In America, a cat is born with 2 heads – it has 2 mouths, 2 noses and 4 eyes. The vet thinks Image (the kitten’s name) will have a chance of survival, but in fact it will only last 4 days!

When the two-sided calf was born on December 27, 2005, dairy owner Kirk Heldreth didn’t think he would live long. The two-headed calf that draws the curious flock to Heldreth Farm in southwest Virginia. Heldreth camp receives between 40 and 50 visitors per day.

The monstrous calf eats twice a day and feeds about 2 bottles of milk each time. At first Heldreth thought he wouldn’t eat or drink like a normal animal. Now Heldreth plans to donate the calf to science for research or sell it for demonstration.

The first 2 is a phenomenon other than two. 2 heads means two separate brains. Newspapers have already talked about a pig named Rudi with 2 heads, born in 1998 in Iowa, United States.

Before that, a similar pig was born in Wisconsin, USA, but it was later stolen. A prize of 1000 USD was given to find this pig, but still “the shadow of the fish”! Similar monstrosities also appear in reptiles and amphibians such as turtles, snakes, lizards, and crocodiles.

In 2002, researcher Andrew Khund gathered all the valuable information on bipedal organisms. There are many different species on Andrew Khund’s list: buffaloes, cows, pigs, cats, dogs, fish, snakes and others.

It is more common in turtles than in others, such as snakes and fish. The two-headed turtle named Emily was lucky enough to be admitted to the science museum – she couldn’t live in the natural environment.

Emily weighs 4kg and has lived in Minessota state for approximately 4 years. However, it was two heads that caused Emily’s death – one of her heads was trapped under the shell and then died, the next day the second head also “died” from poisoning!

Examination of x-ray addiction and anatomy showed that Emily not only has 2 heads, but also 2 additional biological systems – 2 hearts and the same goes for the other organs! Emily’s two spines were fused at the back, so the left head brain controlled the left front leg; and the right brain of the right head dominates the right front leg.

Meanwhile, both ends control the hind legs. In addition, the tortoise Emily also has 2 ventricles, 2 large intestines, but the same small intestine. There was a case of a three-headed turtle born in Taiwan in 1999. Villagers Lin Chi-fa discovered the turtle. This monstrosity in a pond. The villagers then regarded him as a “sacred animal” and took him to a temple to worship him!

They soon discovered that the three-headed turtle was unable to navigate in space, so it was always on the move. The third head of the turtle is underdeveloped than the first and second head – smaller and lighter in color.

It was found that it was the second head that reduced the biped’s chances of survival compared to “standard” animals of the same species. The reason is that the second head slows down the animal’s reaction or fails in the face of danger. If one head sees danger, while the other sees nothing, the animal’s two brains begin to struggle when it comes to making a final decision.

Under favorable conditions (eg, reared in a special environment in a national park), bipedal organisms can live longer, especially snakes. In the United States, a 2-headed snake (Queen snake in California) lives up to 17 years in Arizona.

In the natural habitat, predators will “come” easily! In addition, the two heads of the animal can also “devour” each other like two rivalries, and the “battle” between these two heads on the same body can last for hours or even all day!

In 2001, a monstrous crocodile was born at the Samut Prakarn crocodile farm near Bangkok. The two heads are named Chang and Ang – after the twins of 1811 in Siam (the old name of Thailand). The two brothers later married and gave birth to 22 children. Two brothers died at 63. The crocodile was not so lucky – he died a week after he was born.

Dreamers believe that science can produce an organism with hundreds or thousands of heads through genetic engineering. But most consider this to be nonsense! However, history has shown that humans can create bizarre creatures in 5, 10, or up to 30 years.

From animals, then maybe … humans! For example, not so long ago the scientific world “born” a mouse with … human ears on the back, a fly with many eyes all over its body, even on the legs and wings. !

Maybe in the future we will see more weird creatures. The errors of nature which astonish us today will become “trivial” compared to the “creature” created by some scientists, despite public opinion.
