The biggest bunny in the world

The sad news that the biggest rabbit in the world is missing. The owner of the rabbit offers a great reward to the person who returned the rabbit to safety. The police are still looking for the rabbit thief.

West Mercia Police have called on people to provide information about the rabbit theft, after receiving reports that the world’s largest brown and white furry rabbit was missing in Stoulton Garden in central England, on the night of April 10.

Annette Edwards, its owner, posted on Twitter on April 11 announcing the ‘missing’ bunny, pledging to reward it with £ 1,000 ($ 1,375) to the person who brought it back to safety.

“Darius is too old to breed. Please bring him back,” Ms. Edwards said.

Darious is a male rabbit of the large German rabbit breed, recognized by Guinness World Records as the tallest rabbit in the world in 2010, with a body length of up to 129 cm.

Edwards announced in 2018 that Darious, then 8, would retire and no longer appear in the media to enjoy a quiet life at home. Darius’ son Simon died on a 2010 transatlantic flight en route to his new owner. Simon is 90cm long, expected to be taller than his father.
